A Million Dollar Site?

This week I received a series of “urgent” messages from a trio of big time Internet marketers who have a limited number of packages they are selling in their million-dollar membership program. A huge pre-launch storm was created by Shawn Casey (a lawyer-turned-Internet Marketer) and his millionaire marketing partners, Jeff Paul and Jim Fleck.

When the avalanche of high persuasion emails was over I discovered that for a few thousand dollars the million-dollar trio of Shawn, Jeff and Jim would grant me a million dollar, turnkey membership site. All I had to do was provide the upfront money ($3999, but payable in 5 easy payments); the million-dollar trio would do the rest. Says the Sales Letter: “Thanks to our step-by-step home study course you can instantly create an avalanche of cash falling into your bank account…..”

Well, I can clearly see who got the “boat loads of cash instantly” deposited into their bank accounts. You figure it out: at $3999 per package they anticipate selling a minimum of 500 packages. That is not chicken feed!

Is it a good deal? Apparently some people think so because they sold over half the packages within a few hours. They anticipate selling out completely before the week ends.

Whether its a “good deal” or not depends on your strategy. After paying for the package the would-be millionaire still must get at a minimum of 133 memberships to break even “instantly” as the sales letter promises. They say that you can pay for the membership in a year’s time with only 13 members. Doable? Certainly. Profitable? Maybe. Although the promise of “boat loads” of money is made at the beginning of the extra long sales letter you’ll find these words in the smaller print: “Of course, we can’t guarantee how much you’ll make. We don’t know if you’ll do anything at all with these tools and training materials. Your results, if any, will vary. You could make more or less than we and other students do.”

You see it IS dependent upon how much effort you put into it. So, what’s new? Well, they give you the vehicle to earn a “boat load” of money (for a huge price). But the vehicle is worthless if you don’t work it. You must ultimately buy the fuel and work at promoting your site. Quite a contrast to their hype: this program is only for people who truly want to get mega rich, and truly have the absolute ultimate lazy person’s lifestyle. If you enjoy being a workaholic, spending eighteen hours a day, working seven days a week, if you enjoy fatigue, worry, frustration, stress, aggravation and no peace of mind… then this isn’t for you.

Perhaps it is a wonderful opportunity for some. But it is not for me. Remember what I said about being a strategist instead of an opportunist? This opportunity did not fit my overall strategy so I dismissed it immediately (although I did read all the emails and freebee offerings so that I could write about this on the blog). If you want to check it out you’ll find it for a few days at http://millionswithmemberships.com/index_early.php. They will put a Sold Out sign on the web page soon. It’s your choice. Please note: I do not recommend this for anyone. And it is NOT an affiliate link of any sort.

Have a prosperous day!
